MALONEY’S JIU JITSU
Bob Maloney is a first degree black belt under Professor Eddie Edmunds, a fifth degree black belt. Bob Maloney’s lineage is under Professor Pedro Sauer. Bob Maloney retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years as a military police officer and Special Agent for the Criminal Investigation Division Command. During his tenure in the military he went on several deployments and served in hazardous places such as Afghanistan, Kuwait and Cuba to name a few. During his service he trained with Soldiers in the art of Army Combatives and Gracie Jiu Jitu. Bob became certified in US Army Combatives and has instructed many Soldiers and civilians in Army Combatives and Gracie Jiu Jitsu

Bob Maloney’s main focus is teaching Gracie Jiu Jitsu in a fun and entertaining way with an emphasis on self-defense. The philosophy of Gracie Jiu Jitsu is to be able to defend and defeat a larger stronger opponent with leverage, timing and technique. Gracie Jiu Jitsu allows a person to not only use the intellect to subdue a larger opponent, but also to be able to get in great physical shape! As you progress you will be able to be evaluated and earn belt promotions, up to black belt!
As a member of Maloney’s Jiu Jitsu, an affiliate of the BJJ Globetrotters Association, our mission is to create a worldwide, non-political, and open-minded community for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners, focused on building friendships and positive experiences over traditional, restrictive team politics. Our core philosophy emphasizes that everyone is equal on and off the mats, offering an alternative to traditional, commercialized affiliations.
